Pearl Electric’s R&D team researched the comprehensive correlation among winding temperature rise, power loss, flow rate, pressure drop, pipe diameter, and pipe length, and proposed a new water self‑balancing calculation approach.
A brand‑new closed water‑circulation system is developed, solving core technical challenges of external insulation performance and external partial discharge for water‑cooled dry‑type transformers.
Targeting the structural features of water‑cooled dry‑type transformer windings, the project optimized resin casting technology to effectively prevent winding cracking and resin leakage risks.

During project development, Pearl Electric filed 4 invention patents, obtained authorization for 2 invention patents and 5 utility model patents, and published 3 technical papers in Transformer magazine. The whole series carries complete independent intellectual property rights with prominent innovation value.
This technical achievement breaks overseas technical monopoly and addresses key bottlenecks in related power‑equipment sectors. It greatly strengthens Pearl Electric’s R&D strength and core competitiveness for global dry‑type transformer markets.
