Pearl Electric Participates in World's Largest Wind Power Project

Amid the global energy transition, a landmark collaboration has officially taken root in the Middle Eastern desert. Goldwind Technology recently signed an agreement with Saudi Arabia for the PIF5 wind power project, providing comprehensive solutions for the world's largest onshore wind power project under construction, with a total capacity of 3GW. Among the bids, Pearl Electric, leveraging its solid comprehensive capabilities, successfully won the contract for key equipment supply for the project, marking a significant breakthrough in the company's international strategic layout.

As a traditional energy powerhouse, Saudi Arabia is actively promoting its "Vision 2030," aiming to generate 50% of its electricity from renewable energy by 2030. The PIF5 project is a core component of this strategy, comprising the 1GW Shakira and 2GW Stratah projects located near Riyadh, with commissioning expected to begin in 2027. Upon completion, the project will generate 11.3 billion kilowatt-hours annually, approximately 2.4% of Saudi Arabia's current total electricity generation, reducing carbon emissions by over 9.3 million tons annually.
